Hwa Go is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Government Law Group. Her practice primarily focuses on assisting our clients with their government-related and general litigation matters and their administrative matters, as well as providing advice on a variety of public law issues, including public contracting.
Memberships/Affiliations
Hwa is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the Washington State Bar. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Multnomah Bar Association (“MBA”), and the Federal Bar Association, as well as the Oregon City Attorneys Association, the Oregon Women Lawyers Association and the Oregon Minority Lawyers Association.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the MBA Membership Committee. She also currently serves as the vice-chair of the MBA CourtCare Committee.
Education
Hwa is a former summer associate with the firm and also clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Trial Division. While earning her JD at the University of Oregon School of Law, she served as editor-in-chief of the Oregon Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and earned a certificate of completion in Business Law. She also holds a BS, cum laude, in Accounting from Linfield College, and a BA in English from Willamette University.
