John is an attorney in the closely held business team. His practice focuses on the operations, acquisition, sale, and organization of ongoing businesses and the partnership, vendor, employee and other disputes that can arise in the course of business. Clients are and have been in a wide variety of industries, including accounting, architecture, information technology, medical services, product distribution, real estate services, retail, trucking, and wireless communications. John also has experience in real estate transactions such as establishing condominiums, buying and selling commercial properties, negotiating retail and commercial space leases, and structuring joint development of planned communities and commercial centers.


Memberships/Affiliations

John is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and the U.S. Tax Court. He was named a "Rising Star" by the Washington Law & Politics Super Lawyers Magazine in December 2009.

Education

John earned his JD from the University of Washington School of Law. He earned a BA, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
