Memberships/Affiliations

John is an active member of the Oregon, Washington and Idaho State bars, and has served in a variety of bar section roles. He has been a member of numerous professional organizations including American Health Lawyers Association and American Bar Association.

John is a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association. He serves on the Health Policy Committee for the Oregon Business Association. John has also served on the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army both in Spokane and in Portland for nearly 30 years, and is currently serving on the Executive Committee.

Education

John received a JD With Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. He also received a MA in Religious Studies from Gonzaga University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Iowa. He has been an adjunct professor in the graduate studies in education program at Whitworth University.
