Jeff has 20 years of litigation experience, primarily as defense counsel representing government entities, as well as private businesses. He represents clients in matters ranging from condemnation, inverse condemnation, relocation benefits, employment claims, civil rights claims, and any variety of torts to construction, contract, and real estate disputes. Jeff has represented clients in numerous state circuit courts and before a variety of administrative agencies. His representation of government entities keeps Jeff constantly in the federal district courts. His familiarity with Oregon federal court practices allows Jeff to effectively assist out-of-state attorneys as local counsel in federal court actions.


Memberships/Affiliations

Jeff is admitted to the Oregon, Washington and Missouri state bars. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Lane County Bar Association as well as the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel, the Roland K. Rodman American Inn of Court, and the Oregon City Attorneys Association.

Education

Jeff graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1989, where he was a member of the Law Review. He also served a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Scott O. Wright, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
