Jerome Lidz specializes in municipal law, constitutional law, administrative law, natural resources law and appellate practice. Jerry has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Willamette University College of Law and the University of Oregon School of Law. He has practiced before the state trial and appellate courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Memberships/Affiliations

Jerry is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for Municipal Law. He is admitted to the Oregon State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Municipal Lawyers Association, the Lane County Bar Association and the Oregon City Attorneys Association.

His extensive government law experience at the Oregon Department of Justice includes Attorney-in-Charge of the Natural Resources Section for five years, Assistant Attorney General in the Education Section for five years, and Chief Civil Attorney in the Appellate Division for five years.

Education

Jerry earned his JD from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1977, Order of the Coif. He holds a MA degree in Educational Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BA degree in American Studies from Yale University. Jerry also served a two-year clerkship with the Oregon Court of Appeals.
