| Bruce A. Bishop leads the firm's legislative practice from the Salem office. He specializes in legislative and administrative law, particularly in the areas of health policy, benefits and insurance; human services; and elections and government ethics. Bruce has represented the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems since 2001. Previously, Bruce managed Kaiser Permanente’s state government relations for 15 years in Oregon and Washington. He has extensive experience as a legislative committee and research staffer, and as a policy and government affairs consultant. Memberships/Affiliations Bruce was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1973. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Capitol Club of Oregon, Oregon's association of professional lobbyists, where he is the 2006-07 president. He serves on the Board of the Pacific Institute on Ethics and Social Policy and is a firm representative for the State Capital Global Law Firm Group. He also is a founding member of the Hospital-Affiliated Lobbyists of Oregon (HALO). Education Bruce received his JD from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1973.
